Hi,
thanks for your report. To fix this bug, I need some more informations:
Does it happen during an update/upgrade ? what version of mlt was previously installed ? and did you install mlt from a third-party repo, eg. debian-multimedia ? Your log is saying that it's to trying to replace a file belonging to the 'mlt' package, but there is no such binary package in the archive.

Happens when mlt 0.2.3+svn20070720~3v1ubuntu0 is already installed (3rd party from http://3v1n0.tuxfamily.org/dists/feisty/3v1n0/)

Could you please clear the Uname and this sentence from this page. Thankx.

Sorry, but we don't support upgrade/install from third-party repositories. The best thing to do here is to remove mlt and reinstall it from the ubuntu repos.
