Bug Description
mirvanity gets confused by background lighting, producing erratic measurements.
At least that's what it looks like. In cases where I have not positioned the camera perfectly to only see the screen, there is some aperture lag visible which makes the background (wall) brightness increase and decrease. The slower change in luminance immediately above the top of the screen appears to be confusing the vision algorithm, and so mirvanity produces erratic measurements that never stabilize.
Workaround: Position the camera such that it cannot see anything other than the screen contents.
