Bug Description

mirin reports seemingly garbage strings (Mir 0.24.0 on yakkety):

1:Power Button:-event1-0-1n keys
2:Video Bus:-event2-0-6 keys
3:Power Button:-event0-0-1n keys
4:Microsoft Microsoft 5-Button Mouse with IntelliEye(TM):-event9-1118-71soft 5-Button Mouse with IntelliEye(TM) pointer
5:Lite-On Technology Corp. ThinkPad USB Keyboard with TrackPoint:-event10-6127-24585Corp. ThinkPad USB Keyboard with TrackPoint full keyboard

which supposedly represents the server whose log says:
