Bug Description
Inconsistency: "stop unity8" clears the screen on N4 but not on any other device. You're usually left with what looks like Unity8 still, but of course it doesn't respond when Unity8's no running any more.
I think it would be nice to have some consistency. Maybe we should be clearing the screen on exit? Is that even feasible?

and should it be selectable by the client ? for those that might want contents to remain onscreen ? would seem something a display server might not want to assume.
