Bug Description

I am running the Lenovo Thinkpad Twist with Saucy and Unity desktop in XMir mode (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Mir/Installing). When I leave the system without use for some time, the screen gets turned off for power saving. Problem is that the screen only turns black but the illumination of the screen does not turn off.

Changed in mir (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → High
Changed in xorg-server (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → High

The problem only occurs in XMir mode, when deactivating XMir as described on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Mir/Installing, section "Removing unity-system-compositor", subsection "temporarily" the light turns off as expected.
