Trackpad isn't recognized on logging in to multiple users

Bug Description

The trackpad isn't recognized on logging into multiple users. The software cursor is still present on the screen. Everything else, including the keyboard, still works.

To reproduce the bug, log into a user session and switch to the guest session.
