Can't open Minetest 0.4.7+repack-2 in lubuntu 13.10

every time i want to open Minetest 0.4.7+repack-2 in lubuntu 13.10 from a terminal, i get this message:

i have the same issue on Trusty. this is the error message:

Well, it seems that the game is not playable without 3D acceleration from your hardware. Given the kind of game, I'd say that this is hardly a bug, actually.
