Binary package hint: migration-assistant
On Intrepid i386 Final Live CD (created with bzr) install migration-assistant reports properly users on other Ubuntu Intrepid installs, but fails to import anything :
- wallpapers are not imported;
- bookmarks in Firefox aren't either;
- settings for thunderbird, settings for the desktop (themes, number of virtual desktop, keyboard shortcuts, etc...) are default one, not the user's;
- no account is imported at all, even if the users are selected - the user created at install is there, but the others aren't created by migration-assistant. |
