Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

It would be nice if ubiquity would offer to install the firefox extensions you have installed in firefox on other operating systems (if an internet connection is present).

Shunting over to migration-assistant for now, although I imagine it might need some work in ubiquity too.

Changed in ubiquity:

Why not just migrate the firefox profiles (~/.mozilla in linux)? That would presumably be way easier, put the task of upgrading things between new versions in firefox's park (which it can handle just fine), and give you everything you'd expect.

Then there wouldn't be any problems like migrating FF2 bookmarks to FF3, or other related issues, since newer versions of Firefox handle upgrading older profiles automatically.
