Bug Description

Crash file is attached. The migration assistent only showed my Ubuntu Edgy and not Windows XP.

What do you have on the Windows partition in the "Documents and Settings" folder?

I have a German version of Windows XP. There the folder is called "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen". Is this the problem?

In this folder there are user profiles.

It does account for this possibility by grabbing the actual name of the "Documents and Settings" directory from the registry. I suspect that it is failing when iterating over each directory within that directory. Could you possibly paste a directory listing of C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen in this bug report?
