Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1) Choose Ubuntu Unity Session (Zesty; using X)
2) Open Micropolis
3) See that everything looks normal
4) log out and choose GNOME on Wayland session (make sure that Wayland is actually used)
5) Open Micropolis again
6) See that all the buildings, streets and woods are missing, even the water. Just plain soil is visible and occasionally trains (without rails).

Micropolis seems to use X (rather XWayland) even on the Ubuntu Wayland session.
I tried to force using XWayland by using exporting the proper env variable (GDK_BACKEND=x11 micropolis), but that didn't change anything.
That means that it is most probably a XWayland bug.
