microcode-initrd 3 source package in Ubuntu

microcode-initrd (3) mantic; urgency=medium
* Add cpio depends, to allow installing this package without any
initrd-ish packages that pull in cpio. Previously this package was
often only installed together with initramfs-tools-core which has the
cpio depends.

- microcode-initrd: early microcode-only initrd suitable for grub
intel and amd64 microcode are generated together into an early,
microcode-only, initrd. This initrd can then be loaded by grub on
boot, for otherwise an initrd-less boot.

microcode is updated.
