The Ubuntu default theme (Human) has this problem. The corners are not drawn properly even if the windows are not maximized.

Are you referring to rounded corners? If yes then, this is feature of the theme and not a bug.

I'm not referring to the rounded effect but the drawing defect.

Have a look at the screenshot of Edgy I've made and see the difference.

The Edgy window rounded corners are drawn properly but the Feisty ones are not.
