Bug Description

Binary package hint: metacity

This problem manifests in a horizontal monitor setup with the internal screen being below the external monitor
and the monitor-edges not ligning up and the internal monitor having a lower x-resolution
than the external one and the internal one not overlapping the edges of the exernal one.

Attached is a screenshot how it can show.
The two terminal windows show the usable space on the external monitor - also
you can see them extend into the laptop's screen - so the unusable part is not
the x-width of its screen.

When maximizing a window on the external monitor - that uses about 1/5th of
the screen's width and full height.

Further info will be attached from the affected computer shortly.

Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance.
