Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome

I have this problem since upgrading from Edgy to Feisty.

When I log out of Gnome and log back in, it tries to restore the apps and windows I had open when I logged out. Most of the apps are restored, but the windows are completely missing the titlebar and window surround. Menus are there, but the window control is not. The windows do not come to the front when clicked.

If I delete the session file at ~/.gnome2/session and login again, it works fine.

I can reproduce the problem by logging out and back in.
