Bug Description
Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS.
GNOME 42.4
Windowing System: X11
Chrome Version 106.0.5249.103 (Official Build) (64-bit)
IntelliJ IDEA 2022.2.3 (Ultimate Edition) Build #IU-222.4345.14, built on October 4, 2022
Setup:
Chrome is default browser.
Only app open is IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate.
Popup in IJ shows web link to details of latest IntelliJ update.
Expect:
Click on web link inside of IntelliJ and Chrome opens, I select my profile, and previous Chrome windows are restored, and IntelliJ link opens. Chrome icon in left side task management panel shows 4 Orange dots to indicate many open windows.
What happened:
Click on web link inside of IntelliJ and Chrome starts up (skipping user profile selection), restores all previous windows. Chrome icon in left side task management panel is unchanged (no orange dots). All the Chrome windows are under the IJ icon. Can select any Chrome window under that icon, instead of under the Chrome icon. Chrome seems to be functioning normally. Exit Chrome and reopen it from the left side task management panel and it works normally again.
