Bug Description

Up-to-date, fresh installation of Jaunty. Attempt to install the "gnome" metapackage yields:

mbt@zest:~$ sudo apt-get install gnome
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

  gnome: Depends: gnome-desktop-environment (= 1:2.22.2~4ubuntu5) but it is not going to be installed
         Depends: serpentine but it is not going to be installed

Any reason for making this low priority? If the meta-pkg is broken,
there are two solutions, each of which should be high priority:

  * fix the meta
  * drop the meta

And the "(again)"? Nice editing. But this isn't the first time that
it has been broken, and it's really getting old...
