Can't build example file 'vgears.c'

Binary package hint: mesademos

I installed 'mesademos' and attempted to follow the instructions for building the vgears.c example. It requires a file 'svgamesa.h' that doesn't appear to be present anywhere in any Ubuntu package, however, so I can't build this particular demo.

Yes, this is still an issue for me. I tried following the instructions in README.Debian but I don't see the 'svgamesa.h' file that is required in order to compile the vgears.c example. Where is it? Shouldn't it be in the dependences?

Since there has been no updates to this package in Ubuntu since this bug was reported, I am assuming this is still a problem.

John- if you could give us anymore information about this bug and how to fix it that would be great. Links to the required files would be wonderful.
