108_destroy_intel_fb.patch makes logs me out after 20 seconds

I got an update to mesa which introduces 2 patches, one of which (108_destroy_intel_fb.patch) causes a problem:
my gnome login crashes after 20-30 seconds, and only the failsafe xterm session is usable.
I recompiled mesa without the 108 patch and now it works again
