Bug Description

Hardy Heron was released and still contains an RC release of Mesa.

STU Justification:

 * Non standard/stable code base.
 * Non release GL extensions.
 * Difficult for developers in all areas.
 * Difficult to assess and ask for further SRU hardware support updates.
 * Difficult to assesss and ask for further SRU bug fixes.

Request initial update to full Mesa 7.0.3.

Regards

Phil

Would the best option here be a re-base on Debian i.e. 7.0.3-7 ?

mesa is a central piece of the X.org stack and thus any regressions in it are potentially grave. Instead of tentatively updating the entire version, we should backport particular fixes that we are interested in and which can be verified/regression tested more easily.
