Bug Description

After updating to latest version of software on 2009-01-24, hardware acceleration is broken on gma 950

Running glxgears produces

LIBGL_DEBUG=1 glxgears
libGL error: dlopen /usr/lib/dri/i915_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/dri/i915_dri.so:
undefined symbol: intel_wait_flips)
libGL error: unable to load driver: i915_dri.so

The bug is probably fixed upstreams http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.freedesktop.xorg/36204/focus=36208

In the first instance I apologize. As a non-English speaking, this is a translation of google.

After updating to latest version of software on 2009-01-24, x server don't start on intel gma 945.

The window system does not start and have no opportunity to give more details.

I can confirm this on my GMA950. Seems like the small changes between mesa 7.3 rc3 and 7.3 final were really relevant... (the intel_wait_flips calls were cleared).

This bug was fixed in the package mesa - 7.3~rc3-1ubuntu2
