Bug Description

Poor performance of the Wayland session in Ubuntu 18.04 with AMD A10-7300 in Acer E5-551G. No problems with Xorg session.

Hi Giovanni,

I am tracking a couple of reasons why Wayland sessions might be slower than Xorg sessions [1]. But I wonder - are you using multiple monitors/screens? If so then this would be bug 1730460.

Otherwise, let's group this under bug 1740146.

Actually, even with a single monitor the fix for bug 1730460 will eventually help...

Hi Daniel,

I'm using the laptop monitor, so only one screen. However, I have to say that the performance has improved with the latest updates.
