I dist-updated to Jaunty, and after switching to the UXA AccelMethod (Tiling
is also set to "No") in the xorg.conf I ran some simple test:

1) Run glxgears - All Good
2) Run the Hippo version of the Second Life client - All Good
3) Run Super Tux Racer - All Good.

All three ran [reasonably] well with no crashing of X and no shearing of the
view window while it was being dragged around the desktop.

Checking the Xorg log and it appears to be using DRI2 correctly.
