Bug Description
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.2
Release: 8.04
mesa-utils:
Installed: 7.0.3~rc2-1ubuntu3
Candidate: 7.0.3~rc2-1ubuntu3
xorg-driver-fglrx:
Installed: 1:7.1.0-
Candidate: 1:7.1.0-
When I run glxinfo, it displays one line of output and then hangs indefinitely:
exarkun@
name of display: :0.0
^C can interrupt it. Similarly, fglrxinfo displays no output and hangs indefinitely. It can also be interrupted by ^C.
lspci has this to say about my video card:

X is configured to use the fglrx driver on two heads and xinerama is enabled.
Once I switched from Xinerama to "Big Desktop", these tools began to work (as did other GL applications). I'm not sure if that makes this an invalid or a wont-fix ticket.
