loads of segment faults caused by libmenu-cache-gen

Bug Description

This keeps giving me loads of segfaults according to syslog; I often get the error "too many open files", causeing lxsession to crash. What could cause this?

This issue should be fixed by version 1.0.2-2 which is now in Artful Aardvark Ubuntu.
