Bug Description

See the attached screen shot. According to the test procedure:

http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Install/AlternateMemTest

the test should visibly finish and I should be able to hit Esc to leave. I let it sit for half an hour with no result, so I don't think that's going to happen. System is a Dell mini 10v.

Confirmed on my Dell Mini 10v. Works fine on my Thinkpad X201 and in kvm.

Regrettably I think this probably needs to be Medium; it's hardware-specific, and there was no obvious fix upstream last I looked.

can someone with this hardware test on recent version on supported ubuntu versions please?
5.31b+dfsg-4 and 6.10-2 works on many hardware where older versions was not working
