Bug Description

Binary package hint: memtest86+

On upgrade from 9.10 to 10.04 the upgrade manager complained that both the kernel and memtest86+ could not be installed. Once the upgrade finished and I rebooted, the system hung after grub.
I used recovery mode and dpkg installed memtest86+ and the .32 kernel but the system hung on reboot after grub again.
I can run X in failsafe mode.
