Please sync memcached 1.4.5-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
According to changelog, and verified by my own inspection of the diff,
both the segfault and FTBFS issues were fixed in the upstream release.
Changelog entries since current maverick version 1.4.2-1ubuntu3:
memcached (1.4.5-1) unstable; urgency=high
