Spanish ñ siymbol in translation breakes Meld

Install Ubuntu 14.04.2 as Spanish speaker.
install meld.
In a console terminal start meld.
Choose directory comparsion ("Comparacíon de Carpetas")
Choose two directories
Press "Comparar" button

Nothing happens and In the terminal you will see:
