Ubuntu Melange package will not install

The package is uninstallable in precise release.
This has been fixed in 2012.1~
Minimal patch available below: https:/
Try to install from precise, and receive the below error message.
Install new version from precise-proposed, and it works as expected.
Very little considering that the package is uninstallable as is.
Following is the result of running apt-get install melange on an Ubuntu Precise machine:

It seems like there is a typo in the group "melnage".
