Thanks for your bug report. Looking briefly at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?which=src&data=mediawiki1.10&include=tags:patch&exclude=tags:pending&pend-exc=done, it appears there is a lot of integration work pending to get mediawiki1.10 in good shape for distribution. Could you please watch the Debian progress, and resubscribe ubuntu-universe-sponsors once the package is in better shape? Thank you.

1.10.0-3 and 1.10.1-1 have since been accepted into unstable. The latest version builds successfully on Ubuntu. All submitted critical bugs and most others have been fixed; only 1 normal bug and 3 wishlist bugs are outstanding.

mediawiki1.10 (1.10.0-2) experimental; urgency=low

    - Added " to MW_INSTALL_PATH
