Binary package hint: mediatomb
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS x86
mediatomb 0.12.0~svn2018-6ubuntu2custom1
(mediatomb 0.12.0~svn2018-6ubuntu2)
What I expected to happen:
I expected import and share ISO-images of video DVD:s in mediatombs database, via mediatombs import-dvd.js script.
What happened instead:
I get an error message:
"WARNING: DVD Image /media/HDD2/Video/A Scanner Darkly.iso will not be parsed: MediaTomb was compiled without libdvdnav support!"
I installed <a href-"https://launchpad.net/~jinto">Raik Bienieks</a> patched version from <a href="https://launchpad.net/~jinto/+archive/mediatomb-js">ppa</a>, primarily to be able to add iso images via JS, only to find that this does not work. Bummer.
When I checked https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mediatomb/0.12.0~svn2018-6ubuntu1 , i saw that this was intentionally disabled in Debian unstable (0.12.0~svn2018-6), I haven't found any good explanation as to why, except "...as it's not complete". |
