Bug Description

If music is moved using the file browser app then some songs can be listed multiple times in the music app's song view

Hi, thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better. If the files are being copied to additional locations, then this is expected behavior. Duplicate songs will not be skipped, because they might be a different version of the song, etc. If the files are being moved perhaps this is an issue of the mediascanner2 daemon not cleaning up the database. You can reboot your phone/desktop or simply restart this service via "restart mediascanner-2.0" and it should clean up any entries that are no longer found.

Could you attach your "~/.cache/upstart/mediascanner*log" files?

The files were moved, not copied. This caused lots of duplicate entries to be listed in the music app. Everything seems to have corrected after a reboot.

This is probably a bug within mediascanner2, as we just display a listview of the model provided by the QML plugin. I wonder if it isn't removing the delegates.
