Bug Description

I have tried to follow the mdk manual, and was running a program in the interactive mode using the instructions here:
http://www.gnu.org/software/mdk/manual/html_node/Interactive-mode.html#Interactive-mode

I get to these step:
MIX > load hello RET
Program loaded. Start address: 3000
MIX >
... but if I press the Up key (arrow up), the program exits with a segfault (coredump).

The upstream maintainer of mdk suggested that I'd try mdk 1.2.8, and that libreadline6 (version 6.3) seemed to have problems.
I've tried mdk 1.2.8, but no luck. The Ubuntu 14.04 system uses libreadline6 heavily, but perhaps it is possible to instruct mdk 1.2.6 or 1.2.8 to use another version of libreadline?
