Bug Description
Binary package hint: mc
If you not have a .mc directory in your home (please rename the exist for probe), and you run the "mc". You can't save the setting, and the internal editor "copy selected the tempfile" not work, because these want to save into .mc directory.
But the .mc is missing, and the MC create it not!

Agreed, this is broken -- you can't change the "Internal View" or "Internal Edit" functions without manually creating an .mc directory on a fresh install of Karmic RC.
