Bug Description
Binary package hint: maximus
When I connect an external 1280x1024 LCD panel to my netbook, the window manager works in an unintuitive way:
The desktop is extended to the external display as expected.
If I move the mouse cursor to the external display after clicking on an application which is maximized on startup (e.g. Firefox on my system), the application launches maximized on the external display, but the window title is still on the netbook display. Netbook-launcher is also dimmed.
If I click on the netbook display to interact with netbook-launcher, all applications on the external displays are hidden.
I would expect applications windows to stay open and non-dimmed on one display when others are focused on the other.
This is Lucid Netbook Edition installed from Alpha 1, up-to-date as of 2010-01-17, with maximus 0.4.14-0ubuntu3 and netbook-launcher 2.1.12-0ubuntu4.
