CCSM window picker doesn't work when applications are maximized

I set the bottom right corner of the screen to initiate window picker in scale plugin of compizconfig-settings manager.

In a full screen firefox window, if i bring the mouse to the bottom right corner, it doesn't initiate the window picker. however if i make the window smaller, so that i can see the desktop in the bottom right corner and bring the mouse to that region of the screen, it is able to initiate the window picker.

in ubuntu 11.04 this was working perfectly. Please restore, as otherwise the whole idea of a window picker becomes kind of pointless.
