Bug Description
$ maxima
core dump
$ wxmaxima
cannot connect to maxima
-----
maxima broke in 13.10 already; it seemed to work in 13.04 and before; maybe the reason for the core dump is gcl; building from source with "configure --with-clisp" (after "apt-get install clisp texinfo") works:
$maxima
Maxima 5.32.1 http://
using Lisp CLISP 2.49 (2010-07-07)
