maven output no longer colorized in kinetic

After upgrading to kinetic, maven's console output is no longer colorized.

Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.

I can confirm this issue when running any maven command with maven 3.6.3-5ubuntu1 on Ubuntu Kinetic, compared to 22.04. I don't know what's causing this, since the only change is a security fix (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/maven/3.6.3-5ubuntu1) which should be a minimal patch, so I wonder if it is _somehow_ affected by either changes in libraries or being rebuilt.

fwiw, specifying `-Dstyle.color=always` does make the colors show up, but the default value of auto doesn't...
