Numlock on keyboard LED is not red if numlock is on at boot

Bug Description

In Mate Tweak, I've enabled "keyboard LED" under Panel Features. If numlock is on when the computer boots, the numlock LED in the panel is white, not red.

If I turn numlock off and then turn it on, the LED goes red as numlock is switched on, as expected.

I have the same problem!!!

It is an annoying issue. I have to type twice CapsLock in order the Indicator work (more easy for me than NumLock).
