Bug Description

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding mate-panel. This problem was most recently seen with package version 1.18.1-0ubuntu2, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/feb384400577dc5a09b2adae5e6fff6f6f3abd8b contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.
