Bug Description

workspace-switcher.c sets a non-existent toggle "wrap-workspaces". It should be setting org/mate/marco/general/wrap-style to classic or toroidal and "no wrap" for the function to work correctly.

PLease could you raise the issue upstream, and if you have the time propose a patch :-)

Changed in ubuntu-mate:
status: New → Confirmed
importance: Undecided → Low

I've considered doing a patch but I'm not sure as to where they are going
with it. The GUI indicates that it should be a simple boolean but the dconf
setting indicates that there are three possible settings. Any ideas where
they are going? If not who is in charge of it?

Fixed in mate-panel 1.18.1 (in Zesty) and 1.16.2 (needs backporting to Yakkety).

affects: ubuntu-mate → mate-panel (Ubuntu)

The attachment "Fix workspace switcher wrap on scroll for Yakkety" seems to be a patch. If it isn't, please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you are a member of the ~ubuntu-reviewers, unsubscribe the team.

Ok, 16.10 goes EOL today, and the patch didn't make it in, unfortunately.
Since the bug is already fixed in 17.04, time to mark it as done.

Changed in mate-panel (Ubuntu):
status: Confirmed → Fix Released
