When the Window Picker panel applet is add to a panel it will only show one application icon, rather than an icon for all currently open applications.

Use MATE Tweak to switch to the Netbook layout. The window picker applet is now enable in the top panel. Open a Terminal and Caja, only one icons will ever be represented in the window picker applet.

When the patch package is installed all open applications will be visible in the window picket applet.

After some testing the effect of this bug is that a minimised application can't be maximised/restored when the Window Picker Applet is in a panel.

Can you confirm this is the issue?

APolihron (apolitech) wrote :

Yes.And you can not restore them with alt-tab .And some icons from apps that are open are not visible.

I can confirm 1.16.1-1 of mate-netbook and mate-netbook-common fixes the problem of only one application icon showing.

Thanks!
