Bug Description

When connected to a VPN, there is no icon representing the state. Instead, a 'missing' icon is displayed. Connection was achieved using ovpn config file.

I have the same bug since upgrading from eoan to focal.
It seems to be connected to the Ambiante-MATE icons theme.
Switching to any other icon theme results in a proper icon shown for the VPN-connection.
