Natural Scrolling option not available for Mouse wheel

Natural (or reverse) Scrolling is an option to invert the output from the mouse wheel.

(Ubuntu Mate 17.04. PC= Intel NUC. USB or Bluetooth Mouse)

Expectation: When active, roll the wheel up, moves the window contents up. Roll the wheel down moves the content down. And with the CTRL key held down, rolling the wheel up (top of the wheel away from you) makes the content smaller.

Requirement: This option should be available in the Settings or Tweak or any way non IT users can manage.
This is highly relevant for users of visual and graphical applications.
This option is available on many distros e.g. Xubuntu, Kubuntu, Fedora, Mint, Elementrary OS, Solus Budgie, Netrunner and OSX.

I'm not sure what you mean by natural? But right now there's no option the roll 2-4 lines at the time when scrolling the scroll wheel in the web browser. Only option is to scroll a whole page at the time, which makes scrolling a news feed, i.e on facebook impossible.

It is called natural because if you push your finger on the mouse wheel UP, whats on the screen moves UP. Just like if you had a piece of paper on a table, if you pushed it UP, and it moved DOWN, that would be a very strange experience!

It is a more direct approach as it removes any in-between device such as a scroll bar, or pseudo-viewport. It's just your finger and the content. The same is standard on a tablet or smartphone.

This behaviour is particularly important for people who do visual tasks such as drawing, photography and design. Where you are just as likely to scroll left-right, diagonally and even in a curve. When scrolling reveals more of the content, the user is likely to need to change the scrolling direction during the operation. Thus a curved direction. It is less important for people who just scroll text up and only have simple interactions.
