Bug Description

This may not be a bug, and I doubt it's anything to do with Ubuntu's package, but it seems worth reporting.

When starting masqmail, if the log_dir (/var/log/masqmail by default) does not exist or is not owned by mail, the service fails saying:

could not open log '/var/log/masqmail//masqmail.log': Permission denied
could not open log file

Run 'sudo mkdir -p /var/log/masqmail' followed by 'sudo chowm mail:mail /var/log/masqmail' as all is well.

I recently moved /var/log onto tmpfs, and masqmail seems to be the only service that is not happy.
