Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Ubuntu MATE 20.04 LTS
2. Launch MATE Tweak, switch to the Windows tab, in Window manager select *Marco (No compositor)*
3. Launch Notification Settings (from terminal with `mate-notification-properties` or from GUI)
4. Click *Preview*

Expected result:
* OSD notification balloon has rounded transparent corners

Actual result:
* OSD notification balloon has black corners while using marco with no compositor

Note: the Ubuntu MATE 18.04 LTS also have this problem.
