have no idea why im getting this. Have been trying to upgrade but have been having numerous problems

debconf: DbDriver "templatedb": /var/cache/debconf/templates.dat is locked by another process: Resource temporarily unavailable

This indicates that another package management program is running, perhaps in the background. The remedy is to find it and shut it down. It is not a bug in man-db, even though man-db is affected by it (along with many other packages).
