This looks like a regression from 0.160
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start mame in windowed mode. Example: "mame -w ibm5150"
2. Notice that the mouse pointer has disappeared and the window can't be closed with the close button.
Expected:
The pointer is still available, as it was happening with the previous ubuntu packaged version.
