Bug Description
the command 'dpkg -L magnus' shows that magnus package contains an autostart entry (/etc/xdg/
* Uninstalling it will remove the package (and the autostart entry along with it) as a workaround.
* Of course one could also 'sudo rm' the file but it would come back with any magnus package update unless the bug is fixed in that update.

The autostart file uses a gsettings key - this will prevent the app running unless that key is enabled through a shortcut. This assumes you are running a gsettings enabled desktop environment like Mate, Budgie or GNOME-Shell.
Possibly there should be a "OnlyShowIn= Budgie; GNOME;Mate" type clause in the autostart file.
Suggest throw this to upstream to consider https:/ /github. com/stuartlangr idge/magnus
